Thank you for choosing a state-of-the-art *Product, manufactured to the strictest quality standards. Our warranty covers electrical or electronic products (hereinafter referred to as "product"). We guarantee for two years (24 Month) from the date of initial purchase that your product will be free from manufacturing defects in material or workmanship when used as intended. More detailed information is enclosed about your product.
In the unlikely event of a failure of the product, the warrantor* will arrange for your product to be serviced, free-of-charge when you inform us of the defect within the warranty period, provided that the product was used per the user manual (e.g., in the intended environment).
Warranty terms
The warranty period starts on the date of purchase as stated on your proof-of-purchase and expires at the end of 24 months. If you require service but you lost your proof-of-purchase or the retailer is unknown (e.g., a seller on an online auction channel), the warranty period shall be considered to have started three months from the date of manufacture indicated on the product or derived from the serial number. If you require service for products without a production date or serial number on the product valid proof-of-purchase is required.
Service will be provided by repair, replacement or reversal of purchase, with the choice of service at the discretion of the warrantor. The service is performed by the warrantor or by partner companies contracted by the warrantor.
If the repair, with new or refurbished spare parts, is not possible or economically not reasonable, the product will be replaced by an identical or an alternative, equivalent product with comparable functionality. All replaced appliances and parts become the property of the warrantor. After a repair, firmware upgrade or replacement the warranty period will continue from the date of the original purchase. Further claims are excluded. This applies in particular to claims for damages, irrespective of the legal basis on which they are based. The exclusion shall not apply if injury to life, limb and health, if intent and gross negligence, product liability and if breach of essential obligations that jeopardize the achievement of the purpose of the warranty.
What is excluded?
The warranty does not cover consequential damages (including but not limited to loss of data or loss of income), nor compensation for activities done by you, such as regular maintenance, installing firmware updates or saving or restoring data.
The warranty excludes or does not apply if:
1) The proof-of-purchase has been altered in any way or is made illegible.
2) The model number, serial number or production date code on the product has been altered, removed or made illegible.
3) Repairs or product modifications have been carried out by unauthorized service organizations or persons.
4) The defect is the result of excessive use outside the intended purpose.
5) The defect is caused by abuse of the product or by environmental conditions that are not in conformance with the user manual of the product.
6) The defect is caused by connecting peripherals,
additional equipment, or accessories other than those recommended in the user manual.
7) The unit has been damaged, including but not limited to damage by animals, lightning, abnormal voltage, fire, natural disaster, transportation or water (unless the user manual expressly states that the product may be rinsed). This includes damages due to dirt such as heavy dust or nicotine deposits in ventilation slots, fans, on displays, lamps, etc. impair the functionality of the unit as well as defects resulting from lack of or insufficient maintenance in accordance with the operating instructions, including (but not limited to)
8) The reasons is due to normal wear and tear (e.g. chips, scratches, abrasions, discoloration, fading), or replacement of by their nature consumable parts (e.g., vacuum cleaner bags, filter cartridges, batteries) or they that are made of glass
9) The good were purchased as faulty stocks
10) The product does not function properly because it was not originally designed, manufactured or approved for use in the country where you use the product, which might occur when you imported the product.
11) improper transport carried out by the user (e.g., with unsuitable packaging) has caused damage or the unit has suffered damage due to falling.
12) The product does not function properly due to problems with access to, or connection with service providers, such as interruptions in the access networks (e.g. TV cable, satellite or internet), faults on the subscriber's or the correspondent's line, local network fault (cabling, file server, user's line) and faults in the transmission network (interference, scrambling, faults or poor network quality)
13) Additional warranty restrictions, if any, can be found in the user manual of the product.
We draw your attention to the fact that the appliance cannot be considered defective if a modification or adjustment must be made to the appliance to enable it to be used in a way for which it was not intended in its original specification (e.g., adaptation to a different reception or connection standard). In addition, we would like to point out that the settings and training (e.g., water temperature, coffee grinding degree) of an appliance vary depending on the country in which it was originally intended to be marketed. For this reason, all claims for changes to the settings and tares mentioned are excluded.
These warranty restrictions do not restrict your statutory rights under national Consumer Law. This warranty is provided in addition to your existing consumer law rights.
Service needed?
In order to avoid unnecessary inconvenience, we advise you to read the user manual carefully and/or consult the support section of this web site before contacting your dealer or the warrantor's support. To obtain service within the warranty period please contact the consumer contact center via one of the contact methods indicated on this website.
When your product is no longer within warranty, in some countries, you can contact the nearest authorized service center directly instead of the warrantor's support. If available, you can find the addresses of the service centers on the support website.
To be able to help you efficiently when you contact the warrantor or its service partners, please have available:
- The product type- or model number (also sometimes called model ID)
- The proof-of-purchase (e.g., original invoice or cash receipt) indicating the date of
purchase, dealer name and model number of the product; and
- The product serial number or production date code as specified on the product.
The model number, the serial number or production date code (if available) can be found in the battery compartment or on the back or bottom of the product.

This Warranty is provided by Versuni (www.versuni.com) and valid for all products produced and introduces into markets via trade or sold directly by Versuni International or their local entities or previous Company Name “Philips Domestic Appliances” International or their local sub-entities.
